The Fraxel re:pair makes use of a powerful 40Watt CO2 laser (ultra pulse-coherent) that implies, thanks to its famous and internationally recognised IOTS (intelligent Optical alignment system) of Reliant Technologies and the FRAXEL family, a new revolution for the convalescence of severe obsolete and damaged skin. Fractional Deep Dermal Ablation (FDDA) is a new technology which ensures the results of the traditional ablative resurfacing (CO2 and erbium:YAG) with strongly reduced side effects and risk.

Intelligent Scanning
The patented scanning system ensures a uniform treatment. The IOTS (Intelligent Optical Alignment System) adapts to the speed of the hand of the operator. The result is a safe controllable and reproducible treatment with predictable results. 

Depth of penetration
By the optimisation of microscopic small spots (140µm), extremely narrow columns of skin are evaporated to a depth of 1,6mm (unique for Fraxel re: pair). The possibility of removing tissue deeper than 1 mm is unique and ensures an amazing efficiency. At an average treatment 2.5 to 6g tissue are removed. Because more than 80% of this is dermal tissue, the Re:pair provides unique results in the area of tissue tightening. The wound healing process, following after the treatment, leads to a complete renewal of the epidermis with an overall improvement of composition and colour.

Adaptable Spot density
The unique scanning system combined with the intelligent software, gives the operator an additional freedom degree: the derision density of coverage is adaptable. By means of this parameter, the aggressiveness of the treatment can be adapted to the wishes of the patient.
