“Interstitial laserlipolysis” (LASERLIPOLISI®) is an advanced laser technique for removing surplus fat in areas resistant to dieting and physical exercise.

SmartLipo offers the opportunity to perform minimally invasive liposculpture treatments (cannulas of less than 1 mm in diameter), in a much less traumatic manner compared to traditional techniques.
The Smartlipo laser causes the membranes of the adipose cells to break-up, transforming them into an oily substance that is re-absorbed and eliminated in a natural manner or can be drained away using low underpressure. This results in a harmonious body shape and natural results without the secondary effects of more aggressive procedures. Coagulation of small blood vessels ensures there is less bleeding ecchymosis. Last but not least, the laser energy that reaches the dermis from inside enables stimulation of collagen, resulting in significant skin tightening.

Q&A

When does one use the smartlipo and when the classic liposculpture and/or liposuction?

When more than 500cc fat needs to be removed, the classic methods are the method of choice. However, the smartlipo is often used at the end of classic liposculpture to take advantage of its many benefits. One can also propose multiple smartlipo sessions to patients who choose to do this.

Is there risk of burning?

Up until today, there have not been any reports of complications. Transluminescence of the laser target beam through the skin provides the operator with an indication of the depth and position of the laser beam. Can the smartlipo be used on difficult areas?
